Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
A La Carte Private Home Care LLC (“A La Carte,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a private, non-medical home care company based in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors to this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to care services provided under a signed service agreement, which are covered by the privacy terms in that agreement.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the consultation form or send a message through the chat window, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number (when provided), and the content of your message. Please share only what is needed to start a conversation. Do not send detailed medical records, insurance numbers, or Social Security numbers through this website.
Career application information. Our career application form is hosted by Google Forms. When you apply, Google collects and processes the information you enter on our behalf, which typically includes your name, email address, phone number, work experience, certifications (such as CNA, HHA, or PCA), driving status, availability, and any resume or cover letter you choose to upload. We use this information only to review your application, contact you about opportunities, conduct screening and interviews, and maintain employment and legal records. Please do not submit sensitive information such as your Social Security number, bank account details, medical records, or date of birth through the application form unless we specifically request it later in the hiring process.
Anonymous usage counts. We keep a simple count of how often visitors tap our phone number, email address, Facebook link, Google reviews link, Chamber of Commerce badge, and FAQ download. These counts record only which item was clicked and when. They are not tied to your name, your device, or any identifier, and they cannot be used to identify you.
Basic technical data. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) in order to deliver pages securely and protect against abuse.
Cookies. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss whether our care services fit your needs.
- To schedule and follow up on a free consultation.
- To keep a record of inquiries so nothing is missed.
- To understand, in aggregate, how families prefer to reach us.
- To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Career applications
Where the form is hosted. The "Apply now" link on our Careers section takes you to a Google Form. Google is a separate service provider and its privacy practices apply to information submitted through the form. We have configured the form to collect only the information we need to evaluate your application.
What we collect. The application form asks for your name, email address, phone number, relevant experience, certifications (CNA, HHA, PCA, or other), driving status, availability, and any additional information you choose to share. You may also upload a resume or cover letter.
How we use it. We use application information to review your qualifications, contact you about openings, schedule interviews, conduct background and reference checks when appropriate, make hiring decisions, and maintain required employment and legal records.
What not to send. Please do not include your Social Security number, bank or financial account information, medical records, or other sensitive personal details in the initial application. We will request any additional information securely if it is needed later in the hiring process.
Retention. We keep application records for as long as needed to consider you for current and future openings and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations. You may ask us to delete your application information at any time by contacting us.
Your rights. You may ask to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted in your application. To make a request, email info@alacarteprivatehomecare.com or call (774) 503-9312.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers who help us operate this website and our business, and only to the extent needed to do that work. These include our website hosting and database provider and our email delivery provider, which transmits your inquiry to our business inbox. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety or rights of our clients, staff, or company.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain reasonable business records, and then deleted. Anonymous click counts may be kept indefinitely because they contain no personal information. You may ask us at any time to delete an inquiry you submitted.
Security
Inquiries are stored in an access-controlled database and transmitted over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you submitted through this website, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@alacarteprivatehomecare.com or call (774) 503-9312, and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights — for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and other states provide residents with rights to know, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of personal information. We honor these requests from residents of any U.S. state. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
Text messages and calls
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you by phone or text about your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site links to outside pages such as Facebook, Google, Indeed, and the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.
Visitors outside the United States
We serve families in southeastern Massachusetts, and our website and systems are operated in the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
